GREEN BAY — The 2025 season did not end the way the Green Bay Packers or their fans had hoped. For a franchise with a proud tradition and high expectations, falling short has only intensified the focus on what comes next.

For Jordan Love, the message heading into the 2026 season is simple: the Packers are far from finished.
Speaking as the team shifts attention to the offseason, Love acknowledged that last year brought challenges Green Bay isn’t used to facing. Injuries, inconsistent stretches, and tough losses prevented the team from making the deep postseason run many anticipated.
“We know the standard in Green Bay,” Love said. “Last season didn’t meet that standard. That’s on all of us, and it starts with me.”
Despite the setbacks, the young quarterback made it clear that the mindset inside the building hasn’t changed. If anything, the challenges have sharpened the team’s focus.
“Sometimes tough seasons push you the most,” Love explained. “We go back, study everything, fix what went wrong, and come back stronger.”
Head coach Matt LaFleur and the Packers’ coaching staff have already begun evaluating the roster and planning adjustments for 2026. Sources say the emphasis is on restoring the disciplined, balanced style of football that has made Green Bay competitive year after year.
Love, widely regarded as one of the league’s rising quarterbacks, said he has already begun preparing for the next season.

“I’m working to be the best version of myself,” he said. “This team has too much talent and too much pride not to respond.”
For Packers fans, last season may have been frustrating, but belief in the team’s core remains strong. With Jordan Love leading the locker room and a motivated roster preparing for a fresh start, the goal is clear.
When the 2026 season begins, Green Bay won’t just be looking to bounce back.
They’ll be aiming to reclaim their place among the league’s elite.
